What does it do?

Wedding Tales makes it really easy for all the guests at a wedding to upload and share their photos - we collect them all in one place, safely and securely. You can think of us as the up-to-date equivalent of those disposable camera sets. We ensure our service is as easy as possible to use for everyone- wedding guests won't even need to sign up for an account before they get involved.

Can I give Wedding Tales as a present?

Yes, absolutely! You can give Wedding Tales as a modern wedding gift. Our gifting service let you do exactly that.

Our wedding has already happened, will it still work for us?

Yes, Wedding Tales will help you collect the photos just as well after an event as it will if you start before the wedding. You'll need to get in touch with all your guests and send them the details, but apart from that it works the same way. Guests can log in, upload their photos and share in the fun.

Can't the happy couple just use Facebook to do this?

They can, in a way, but not well. All the guests at the wedding need to have Facebook accounts and there's no good way to get the photos out again. Facebook does something very different - and does it very well, but it won't do the best job bringing together all the amazing photos taken at your wedding.

What about other photo sharing sites?

Flickr, Picassa, SmugMug (et al.) all are great services, but they don't make the grade for helping groups of people share easily, and in a private manner.

Are you trying to say we don't need a wedding photographer?

Certainly not!

Your wedding photographer will (hopefully) take some stunning formal pictures. But alongside, Wedding Tales helps you gather in all those other photos taken by your guests- so you don't miss out on any of the memories or personalities from your big day.

That said, if you return from your honeymoon to disappointing 'official' photos then all is not lost- your heartbreak will be saved by your guests' own brilliant pictures!

Why is this a paid for service, shouldn't internet services be free?

We wanted to be able to offer a great level of support and continually delight our customers with Wedding Tales - and to be that kind of service requires funding.

We looked into a few ways to make it viable, and decided that most couples would prefer a straightforward up-front cost to having, say, banner advertising placed alongside photos of their special day.

We think our pricepoint offers excellent value for the service we provide, but if you've any thoughts or questions about what we offer then please do get in touch.

Who are you?

We're James and Oli, we love the internet and we love the opportunities it gives people to collaborate.

In recent years we've both been to a lot of weddings, and have been asked many times (because we are geeks) how to collect the photos. When we've looked for a good solution we couldn't find it - So we built it!
